Another laptop with data on the organization of the Olympic Games was stolen in France. Radio Europe 1 reports that a logistics coordinator in Lille had his laptop and work ID stolen on Monday. The things were in the specialist`s car.
The computer had access to confidential data on the 2024 Olympics. They concerned security plans for the Olympic village, which will be located in the commune of Villeneuve-d`Ascq, southeast of Lille.
It is noted that the files were not stored on the laptop itself, but on the server; access to it from this device was promptly blocked. The case is now being considered by the police.
In February, it was reported that a laptop containing Olympic security plans was stolen from a Paris City Hall employee. The competition will take place in the French capital from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
