Mirra Andreeva and Diana Schneider beat eighth seeds Kristina Buksha and Sara Sorribes-Tormo in the semi-finals of the Paris Olympics - 6:1, 6:2. Since the start of the tournament, 17-year-old Andreeva and 20-year-old Schneider have defeated Australians Olivia Gadeki and Ajla Tomljanovic, Canadians Gabriela Dabrowski and Leila Fernandez (5), and Czechs Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova (2).
On Sunday, Andreeva and Schneider will compete for gold with Italians Jasmine Paolini and Sarra Errani.
